This purchase was not intended to show support for any 2008 candidate, rather as a gag gift for a stanch Hill-Bill supporter. It was well received, got a lot of laughs, and is actually well-made. Communication from the seller was lacking especially since this item was delayed in shipping (assume it must have been out of stock when I placed my order) but it did arrive in time for Christmas.Customer Review: Can't crack the toughest nuts

She works well on thin-skinned nuts; but thick skinned nuts are beyond her abilities. (pecans vs filberts as an organic example) She works well when a crack is available to exploit. But lacks traction on nuts with a smooth aspect -- which tend to slip away (English walnuts vs filberts as an organic example). Gave it to my boss as Christmas gift. He kept laughing for 5 minutes. He is a staunch Republican. I told him that women think I am sexist because I bought this nut cracker but I think I am not sexist it is just that women are stupid that is why they think I am sexist....lol...just kidding. I gave this to my (29 year old) son for Christmas, and it was the big hit of all the gifts. It's funny, well constructed and does a good job at breaking nuts. However, my son told me he would never bring it to work, he's a lawyer in a heavily democratic firm. Great gift, great to buy for your self, great subject for lots of jokes.Customer Review: Great Product!

Solid product. Good quality. I gave it as a gift to my nephew who is a staunch Republican (I'm a staunch Democrat). We both think it's great (for different reasons).
I was worried that it was going to be really cheap, but the product is really solid and of good quality. I highly recommend it.
