Got this for Father-in-law which is 83 years young and a die-hard rep. but when he opened it I thought he was going to die laughting. Like they say the thing has thies of steel. This is a hoot. I bought it as a gift for my husband who hates Hillary. The box has many funny things written on it that are almost as much fun as the nutcracker itself. I was disappointed it arrived with torn corners, and, unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to test it on a real nut in a shell yet.Customer Review: WWII vets crackin' on the Clintons

I got this for my 81-year old mother along with a box of English walnuts for my (B-24 pilot) dad, as a gag gift for Christmas. They are passing them around at their WWII veteran reunion groups. This nutcracker really works and is a great hit at the office. It was up for auction at the Republican Women's Christmas Party and was sold for over $80. I bought this for my boss because is he is all about Hillary and he said it was the best gift he had ever received. It is of great quality and there is no need in saying that it will be a conversation starter whereever it is used! Great product.. no matter WHAT anyone says
