The Ex 5-Piece Stainless Steel Knife Set is a fantastic piece of sculpture. Everyone who sees it for the first time giggles. The knives are of excellent quality, and, despite being stainless steel, the blades are magnetic. The holder has small magnets in each slot that keep the edges of the blades from touching the plastic. The blades are easy to sharpen and hold an edge very well. I've been wanting this set for a long time, but turned off by the high price elsewhere. When I found it on Amazon for half the price on other sites and catalogs, I decided to go for it - and glad I did. It's a super conversation starter, really funny and quirky, as well as the best knives ever. These are well designed, high quality knives that I use every day. My EX-bf gave this to me last xmas & I thought it was so awesome! The knives are pretty good quality & everyone who sees it asks about it.
Every time I plunge one back in (especially the heart one) I think of him.... LOL! Awful but funny. What a great gift!

When I originally got this item in the mail, I was alarmed because it seemed really light-weight. The body and base of the voodoo guy is plastic, but the base is very secure and the plastic is surprisingly tough. We've had ours for over a year now, and we use the knives in the set a lot. They're very high quality for their low cost. I would recommend this for anyone.Customer Review: Funny & Functional!

Received this item a couple of weeks ago. It's hysterically funny (although my ex-husband doesn't think so). The knives are nice quality and you just can't beat the feeling of satisfaction when you shove one back in it's place! Bigger than I thought it was going to be but I'm o.k. with that.Everyone who has seen it goes nuts. For mne, this was a great buy.
