This timer is well worth the money. My kids use this timer to time themselves while doing homework, taking turns on games etc. It's very simple to use, and is sturdy and dependable. The ring is loud enough to hear from another room, and the digital display is big and clear. The triple A battery is easy to replace. The magnet on the back is handy for keeping the timer on a file cabinet or refrigerator. The magnet is strong, so that the timer doesn't fall off. I already have 2 of these timers at home, since the kids and I use it so much. It's convenient to have one in the kitchen, one in the playroom, and one in the office, so I'm thinking of buying a 3rd.

The CDN TM4 Loud Alarm Timer counts down with big digits, displaying the last minute in seconds, and ends with a loud and clear alarm. Features stop and restart functions, and includes a pocket clip and magnet. Made of food-safe ABS plastic. Battery (1.5VOversized digits on this 20-hour timer let you keep track of its progress from across the room. Use the clearly-marked buttons on the front to set the time by minutes, hours, or both (seconds are not shown), then push ?start?; the flashing colon lets you know the timer is counting down. Now you can do other activities while timing the garden sprinkler or a roast, even how many push-ups you can do in one minute. A pocket clip and magnetic strip on the back add to the timer?s convenience. Loud staccato beeps alert you that the time is up; you can either hit the ?alarm stop? button or let it go off automatically after 30 seconds. The extra-large LED display measures 3/4 by 1-3/4 inches, while overall the timer measures a compact 3-1/2 by 2-3/8 by 5/8 inches.
