I have a small "special needs" puppy who has been a challenge to house train and this gate has saved my carpets!! I received it very quickly and it is 1-2-3 easy to install. Only trade off for convenience is that dogs can jump on the gate and knock it down. We installed it in an extra wide opening of 44" so I had to get the extension as well so hence the loss of strength and support. Have a file cabinet pushed against one end of gate to help keep it up and that works well.
