I love this machine! I am no seamstress, have very little experience with a sewing machine actually...yet I find this machine VERY simple and straightforward to operate. I use it most often for sewing on my scrapbooking pages and all of the designs/stitches work perfectly for that!

The Brother LS-2220 a lightweight portable free-arm sewing machine with 21 stitch functions.This is a great mending machine which easily sews straight and zig zag stitches as well as built in stretch, blind stitch and elastic stitch.The LS-2220 also features an easy to use four step buttonholer.The machine is easy to thread with a lay in threading system and quick bobbin winding.The machine features a flat bed to free arm convertible sewing surface so you can easily sew a hem on pants or shirt cuffs.This sewing machine has a built in light to illuminate the sewing area.Instructions are bilingual, English and Spanish.All Brother
