Customer Review: Great case for the price.

I ordered this case for my Brother SE-400 based on the low price. I was looking for extra protection while storing the machine, as the plastic bag it came with does next to nothing in the way of protection. Overall, I am very pleased. The case isn't the most solid plastic, but I feel it will do the job to protect my machine whether storing it or traveling with it. It is big, but that allows me the extra room to store everything I need inside the case as well.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five, is because it didn't come with any harness or belt to secure the sewing machine inside the case. If not for the additional items I am currently storing in the case, the sewing machine would move around a bit inside. Upon researching, it seems that unless you spend over $100 on a sewing machine trolley, you probably aren't going to get the more secure fit. I'd say for the $17.99 I paid (with free shipping!) it was a great deal and a good product.

I just purchased the Brother SQ 9000, which came with a hard cover, but not a carrying case. I was hoping this case would be large enough to fit both the sewing machine and it's cover inside, and it is. This way I don't have to find a different storage place for the hard cover. There's also enough room to tuck in my large quilting tray, which I keep in the box it came in and just slide it inside the case next to the machine. I also put the accessories that came with the machine into a small plastic bin and can keep that inside this sewing machine case right with the machine. I gave it four stars because it's made of a very flimsy plastic, which I'm not sure is going to hold up well over time. I've had my old machine for 30 years and the hard case has taken a beating and there's not a ding in it. This case might not last that long.Customer Review: Sew good for my 11 yr. old granddaughter

We purchased the sewing machine for our 11 year old granddaughter who had it on her wish list for Christmas. When visiting her in Buffalo, it only took a short time before she was sewing on her own. She was able to create gifts for her family.(pillows, make-up purse)without any problem. Threading the machine and bobbin was made quite easy by good instructions. I would highly recommend this machine for many sewing projects and for any age level.Customer Review: It does it's job....

While this case may be too large for standard sewing machines, I purchased mine specifically for the Brother 1034 Serger. With that in mind, I have to say it fits around the serger perfectly, with enough room to store peddle, some accessories and manual. For $20, I think it is a good buy and does what it has to....protect my machine and make it easier to transport.Customer Review: Rating 4 Stars

I bought the Brother 25-Stitch Free-Arm Sewing Machine - XL-2600i and needed the carrying case as it didn't come with one. The case will work but it does not fit snug, it moves around a little bit when carrying it. My old Singer machine had a case that came with it so it fit snug, so compared to that it is not perfect but it works fine.
