I have recently bought a sewing machine and I wanted to be able to take it with me when I go to my camper on the weekends, I was worried about transporting it all the time without protection so I ordered this case, it is hard plastic with a handle on top for easy carrying. The clips on the bottom are pretty reliable I have no doubt about the safety of my machine. The other benefit is there is extra room in the case around my machine for a small sewing kit, so I have everything I need in this one case. I would recommend this case to anyone who likes to take their machines with them or even if you have to store your machine in a closet or something like that, this case is sturdy enough to handle having things sat on top of it. After viewing many cases for sewing machines I feel this one offered the best protection and it was also the cheapest, I paid under $30 with S&H included.Customer Review: A Larger Multi-Purpose Case

I have 4 of these cases. I like them because they are indeed larger and have extra 'nooks' for putting the extra accessories, foot pedal, manuals, extra books, material and sometimes a small sewing kit for when I take it to class.
The size is OK for my smaller White 2000 serger and lots of sewing accessories and material; also good for my Elna 744 serger (larger machine) with pedal and extra feet and manuals. If all you want is something just your machine's size, then better get the smaller Singer sewing case. Do some measuring to be sure. This case is for stand alone machine heads and not the type that needs to be attached with the 2 hinge pegs (for flatbed). I'm very happy with these cases for the above reasons.

The Brother 5300 Universal case is exactly what I was looking for. My Husqvarna Viking 900-series serger came with only a dust cover, and recent rearranging of my sewing space has forced me to store the machine within reach of my 3-year-old and 18-month-old. Needless to say, it was not a happy mix, and I quickly went hunting for a hard, locking case. I was nervous about the size, but my machine fits perfectly, with just a little room on either side that would allow me to store the pedal and small accessories. The case is easy to latch and easy to move, and the younger of my sons just gave it a whirl and proved that the case will protect my investment from toddler curiosity.Customer Review: Large, durable, easy to close and transportation

I bought my machine(Brother XL-2600i) for a year and did not have the box, but now I'm very happy to be able to conserve or saved, without fear of being malatrate.very spacious, white color and in the box you can save some items for sewing,excellent buy.
the only incomveniente is that if Amazon is not direct shipping between wing in my home country, to pay the postage went private for $ 43 more than the cost of the product that was reasonably priced and do not pay shipping. First confirm the shipment directly to the house, as would be much cheaper.

I purchased this case with my brother SE400 Home Sewing/Embroidery machine. It fits perfectly. The embroidery table sits on it's side next to the main machine and I have room for all the accessories the manuals as well as extra thread and some material. It fits in the trunk of my Honda Civic with room to spare,(I also store my food dehydrator, meat slicer, and stand mixer in my car's trunk). I need to take my machine with me and it provides great protection for my machine.
