I can not believe the market tolerates these prices. It works great for what it is intended to do. Allows you to view your PES designs and transfer them from your computer to the blank card you insert in your embroidery machine. No editing features and the card only holds 4mb. Now I have to go spend another 400.00 to 800.00 to get additional software for editing features. Absolutely ridicules! I did get this item for HALF PRICE! So am happy about that. Not much to say about this... just that it works well for transferring embroidery files from your computer to the data card. Easy to use, basic program. Lets you do minor resizing of files, and you can look at a preview of what the design will look like once stitched.
I just wish that you could do more with this program, as far as minor edits, especially for the high cost... but I have another program for that now.
If you have Windows Vista, go to the Brother website to download a different driver for the card reader - don't use the included disc.

I ordered this card last week and received it over the weekend. I went to install it and was having problems. It wasn't until I went to the brother website that I learned you are NOT supposed to put the included disc in your computer if you have vista. NO WHERE in the advertising or package did it say this. I understand that vista is quite new but Amazon should make sure those who purchase this need to go to the website to upload the upgraded file for vista.Customer Review: As Advertised

I have a basic Brother embroidery machine purchased several years ago. I use it for simple designs when sewing for my grandchildren. I wanted to do some monograms and other home embrodiery but my machine has very limited designs. I am so pleased with the Brother PED-Basic. It is not difficult to use and met my needs perfectly without spending a great deal of money. I would definitely recommend it for someone with a similar situation.Customer Review: Brother PED

I bought this product for my Brother SE-350. The machine comes with several designs, but I wanted to branch out. It is very easy to use-comes with great instructions- so you can use all the designs that come on CDs. Just plug it in to your computer and run the program and you can have unlimited designs for your sewing pleasure!
