Customer Review: Tool Bench Necessity - Brother LS2125
Summary: 5 Stars

Since we added a new puppy to our household 3 years ago, I've spent an average of 6 Law and Order episodes glueing, stapling, and hand-sewing my favorite couch's cushions!

No More!

Early Monday morning - Yes, for THIS Football Pre-Season - I wised up and purchased my Brother LS-2125! Learning to wire the contraption up only took 4 1/2 days! This morning, after finding where I'd tossed the directions, I discovered the Brother LS-2125 has a necessary component called a Lower Bobbin. Wound and positioned correctly, the Lower Bobbin took ALL the mysteries out of Machine Sewing! In less than 20 minutes, I was stuffing the Foam back into my couch cushion!

The Brother LS-2125 is Vital to Your Tool Bench! Buy one NOW before Football Season starts! You'll experience far longer Halftime Naps than ever before! You'll be watching countless Law and Order episodes without Sticking Yourself!

The Brother LS-2125 is Better than Viagrara! Imagine all the seconds you'll save up for that Quality Time Together! Now, while you're out "walking the dog" during those long, cold evenings - - because "Look what your Dang Dog chewed up this time," your wife will be able to relieve Stress and Find Where "that dang dog" peed!

With only a week under my belt owning my first Brother LS-2125, I strongly recommend you purchase this Vital Tool! This is a GUY Thing that's been hidden TOO LONG!

The only problem I've found with my Brother LS-2125 is that it can't darn those nylon knee-highs I've been hiding (and replacing) these past three years. Perhaps another tool exists for that repair...

Customer Review: Quick and Easy...
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this mainly for hemming my own pants. Figuring that I would spend roughly $10US to get my pants hemmed by someone else, I decided I would just buy an inexpensive sewing machine and do it my self -I mean after ten pairs of pants, it's paid for itself, right?

So I did, I bought the Brother LS-2125 and now I hem my own pants, and can complete some upholstery projects I've been working on.

In the past, I've heard horror stories about many inexpensive sewing machines, and I wasn't ready to drop $400US or more on one, so I figured I'd give this one a try on whim -and now I am very happy with my LS-2125 as I've had no problems that weren't my own fault (RTFM).

And as someone who hasn't used a sewing machine in over 20 years (my grandmother taught me when I was a kid) I can honestly say that I would reccomend this as a beginner's sewing machine.

As a side note, now my girlfriend wants me to hem her pants (and some of my friends have offered to pay me to hem their pants too...).

Customer Review: Very pleased - used this machine to piece my quilt blocks
Summary: 5 Stars

While I didn't NEED to buy a sewing machine for the quilting class I'm taking, I never seemed to be able to finish my blocks during class so I purchased this machine to work on them at home. I'm very pleased with it. I never used a sewing machine in my life until now. I was so overwhelmed at the thought of buying one - so I picked this one based on the price and previous 5-star reviews.

Being that I only need to stitch a straight line to piece my blocks (just to clarify - I am NOT using this for quilting stitches, just the piecing), a basic machine is all I needed. It didn't take long for me, a complete novice when it comes to sewing, to start piecing my blocks. The instruction book is thorough and includes diagrams that were helpful in figuring out where everything goes & what it all does. I was up & sewing in about 30 minutes. I really love this machine!

Customer Review: Good, Inexpensive Sewing machine
Summary: 5 Stars

I am a begining sewer. I have machine sewn a quilt once many years ago, but that is the extent of my sewing experience. I wanted an inexpensive, simple machine because I do not sew often.

I bought this machine a few weeks ago because I had delusions of making slipcovers for my couch. However, I came to my senses, and decided to use it to finish a jean quilt for my baby. I got a heavy duty needle, the right thread, and this machine seems to do just fine with it. (I am not using really heavy denim, just lighter denim from cheaper jeans.)

I did have one problem with it, which very well may be my fault, which was the thread kept breaking and getting tangled. After I wound a different bobbin and was careful not to sew off the end of my cloth, the problem went away.

Overall, I am very happy with this purchase.

Customer Review: Great first sewing machine
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this sewing machine after doing much research on the internet and through my local Singer dealer. All the "toy" plastic machines are just that, toys. They do not hold up and end up frustrating the new sewer because they do not work long. This machine was easy to use and had all the basic stitches so that my 7 year old granddaughter was thrilled and able to thread it and sew right away! The only thing that these sewing machines made for children do is provide fun, easy sewing projects. With scrap fabric and a little bit of time, you can come up with these easy first projects. The machine is sturdy and could last her for years and years. It cost just a little more than the toys and I highly recommend!
