Customer Review: It's a cover but not a pad

This product fits the board - which it should since it's made by the same company and is why you want to buy it. It's also nice and plain vs. all those ugly floral print designs that for some reason are put on a lot of ironing board covers. However, if you are expecting the thin piece of foam under the cover to provide adequate padding for ironing - I think you will be disappointed. For $25 I think they could have provided a pad that is at least as thick as the generic covers they sell at Walmart. Seriously - I had to buy another cover just to have another foam pad to avoid ironing my clothes and having the metal grate shapes from the board making imprints on my clothes.
