Easy to set up, easy to use and easy to clean. Lots of bang for your buck, what else could you ask for? The blades are extremely sharp and cut even tough vegetable like carrots easily and cleanly. I am a professional chef and use large commercial mandolines regularly and can say this is an excellent home alternative.Customer Review: Great slicer

Like just about everyone else says, this is a great slicer. You will not be disapointed. Made with quality parts I can tell it will last many years. Do yourself a favor if your looking for this type of slicer, don't buy any other brand but this one. I had purchased a couple of other brands and although they claim to do the same thing and are made basically the same there is a huge differece in the sharpness and quality.Customer Review: it was actually pretty good

one of my gripes is clean up, it's not really easy.... I also just think that it's a little bit too much of a pain to take it out to slice just one tomato, I would rather just use a knife. However if you are going to be doing a whole dinner with it, it really does make slicing a lot easier
