This little toy really makes good cotton candy. It just takes a while to warm up and takes a few minutes between batches to rewarm. About 5-10 minutes per cotton candy serving from start to finish. If you want to speed things up a bit, then remove the 4 screws holding the heating element, and insert 1/4 inch washers and rescrew with longer screws. This will put the heating element closer to the disc-thus increasing the heat. The machine works twice as fast this way.
