I bought this french press a little over 6 months ago. For the first couple of months, it made a decent cup of coffee. I encourage all of you readers to heed the advice of the other reviewers and note that this is NOT for 3 cups, perhaps 3 espresso cups of coffee but this whole press of coffee fits into one mug. That said, the press I have stopped working. The rubber seal came loose and no matter what I do, it won't make a decent cup. Bought a Bodum today.Customer Review: coffe press

This is actually unbreakable. It has gone through the dishwasher lots of times. It's sturdy. I am so impressed. I love the size. It is just enough coffee for me to drink without over doing it. And the coffee is so wonderful from a press. The clean up is effortless. The space it uses is minimal. Pefect for someone who does not want to deal with the space the traditional drip machines take up. Customer Review: French Press a bit Small

Not sure what measurement system, maybe another planet, but 3 cups? This thing doesn't even do 2/3 of my coffee cup. So have to make about two to four brews with this to get 1 to 2 cups of actual amounts. Other than that I seem to feel it's a good price, of course that's why I bought this lower cost one. Had I known it didn't even do one full cup I would have purchased something that at least did that - although not sure what size they would call it, maybe 5 cup?
