Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of BonJour Creme Brulee Chef's Culinary Torch with Fuel Gauge, Brushed AluminumCustomer Review: Caramel ! Summary: 5 Stars
This culinary torch looks great, and works beautifully. I like the visible level
of fuel, which makes the torch ready for work . It can be used for many dishes, not
only creme brulee : I have caramelized onions on appetizers, apples on tarts, even
cheese on soups, it's fun to use, works every time, makes you feel like a chef at
the table ! I don't miss my old one a bit. A great tool for the price !
Customer Review: Perfect Torch Summary: 5 Stars
I have always wanted a torch for Creme Brulee and I finally bought one. I am very pleased with the BonJour Chef's Torch. It is very easy to operate, I love that it has a viewable fuel gauge and it has a safety latch. I have aready used it for Creme Brulee and also to add a nice finished touch to some meringue. I recommend this to anybody looking for their first torch.
Customer Review: BonJour aluminum chef's torch Summary: 5 Stars
My son and daughter-in-law really like creme brulee and frequently get it when they go out to eat. I decided to surprise them with thie BonJour brushed aluminum chef's torch with fuel gauge. It is very well made and just the correct size to burn the sugar on a ramekin of creme brulee. They were delighted with my gift.
Customer Review: Works great for beginner Summary: 5 Stars
I got this because my boyfriend loves creme brulee. I had never made it before (I was lucky and it turned out great) and using the torch was easy (it came filled with butane which was a bonus). I don't know enough to compare this to other torches, but as a naive customer trying to get the job done, I am very pleased.
Customer Review: Great product Summary: 5 Stars
Great little torch. A bit larger than I expected, but that's OK. The operation is flawless.
Of note: mine appears to have arrived full of butane. Highly unusual for butane products; so check the fuel gauge before you try to fill it: it makes a mess when you try to fill an already full torch.
