Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Nigella Lawson Bliss Herb Chopper Mezzaluna, BrushedCustomer Review: Mezzaluna Summary: 5 StarsVery easy to use. Very good quality. A must have in every well equipped kitchen.
Customer Review: Essential Kitchen Tool! Summary: 5 StarsThis Mezzaluna is awesome. While I adore my kitchen knives, this mezzaluna makes uniform chopping a breeze, and speeds up the process of handmade artful food. So far, I have made a spectacular spinach-basil pesto sauce, and an amazing tomatillo salsa with it. I've also used it for chopping large Walla Walla Sweet onions and garlic for other dishes, and am so pleased with the final results, texture, and size of the food. I am so impressed. This is a must have for a serious cook!
Customer Review: Rough 'n Ready Meditative Salsa Summary: 5 StarsNigella's mezzaluna knife is a very satisfying tool to use - the rounded stainless handles provide good control and feel *just* substantial enough in the hand. Let's be honest, I just love the way it looks - functional yet artistic, like many of Lawson's creations.
I often use it to create small batches of salsa with a bit of texture, where the results of a chef's knife would be too coarse (and/or slow) and a blender would yield near-puree. For this, it's perfect and engages mind and hands completely. A smaller-radius, single-handed mezzaluna like Wusthof's seems better suited to mincing herbss, but this knife has found its niche in my kitchen and I'm quite fond of it.
Customer Review: Mezzaluna Summary: 5 StarsIt works perfectly, its just the right size. easily fits in my hands and has great control. I bought the accompanying board as well.
Customer Review: review of herb chopper Summary: 5 StarsThis is a good product, I especially like that it is stainless steel. My wish is that Lawson would do a large-size chopper (for salads, etc). This chopper is not ideal for doing large salads, but is for small herbs.
