You've probably seen [...], where they basically blend almost anything. A rake, marbles, golf balls, hockey pucks, you name it they blend it up.
This blender has one of the most powerful motors, and one of the best designs. It's a workhorse, and while it is more expensive than a lot of other blenders, it should be something that you are able to pass down to your kids. It is the same blender you will find it many coffee shops and smoothie places.

We purchased this Total Blender after reading so many unbelievably good reviews. Expensive little bugger but now, over a month later I have only one word for this blender...super, amazing, wow, and great. Then not even a week ago I watched a Blendtec video and in went a new iPhone. On blend mode the iPhone was turned INTO POWDER. No matter what the price you see..yes they are EXPENSIVE but I'll never use a 'normal' blender again. My Blendtec is great.Customer Review: Thanks for the other reviews

Thanks so much for the reviews on the Blendtec---especially to "Crankypants" who wrote the review "Vegetarian's Best Friend" a couple of years ago. I saw it in early July of this year ('09) and it convinced me to invest in the Blendtec. I'm not a vegetarian, but I also ordered several of the books he recommended and have totally changed my diet with the blender. I'm recommending it to all of my family and my friends as a powerful health tool.Customer Review: The Best Blender EVER!!

I can't say enough good things about this blender. True to advertisements, it will blend ANYTHING... I purchased mine for the purpose of making Green Smoothies (as described in the book Green for Life), and it does a wonderful job blending all sort of greens and celery to make very nutritious and delicious smoothies. That, and it takes a matter of seconds to clean. By far, the best kitchen appliance I own. It's worth every penny!Customer Review: It just works!

Bought this for my girlfriend who's recently gone 100 % vegan. Looked at a lot of positive reviews before buying but was still surprised by just how good this blender really is. Everything we make in it comes out nice and smooth without any hassle.
It's a little noisy but who cares... It's only on for 30 secs at a time.
Highly recommendable!
