I use this for protein shakes made from whey powder. The BlenderBottle works as advertised and is much better than the traditional plastic shaker bottles I have used in the past. The combination of the bottle shape and the stainless steel ball mixes all of the powder and does not leave dry pockets as happens with the traditional shaker bottles. The top fits securely and does not leak even during vigorous shaking. Easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher (top rack).Customer Review: Great for mixing baby formula too....

I own 3 of these bottles. We initially purchased them to make protein drinks with. Lately, I have been using them to mix powdered baby formula in. The wire ball does a very good job at breaking up the clumps of formula, and I do not have to worry about BPA contamination.
My only wish is that the bottles also came in a larger size. Even though this is a 28 ounce bottle, the markings only go up to 20 ounces, so I never mix more formula than that.

I've used the blender bottle with Optimum Nutrition Oats & Whey... Its undoubtedly the best blender... I love the metal coil/wire which evenly mixes the protein powder with milk or water... There wont be any lumps in your protein shake...
Experiment around with different ingredients to create your custom protein shake - milk, pieces of bananas or strawberry or peaches, chocolate chip or vanilla fudge twirl or basically any Breyer's ice cream...

i love my blender bottle. it was worth every penny. If you go to the gym constantly and are looking for an easy way to consume your protein shake post workout, this is the right product for you. As soon as I took it out of the package I could tell the material the bottle is made of is quite durable and most definitely above-standard. The pop top also locks in very well so don't worry about it coming loose and spilling everywhere. Very satisfied.Customer Review: Works great!

This product really mixes things well. Even hard-to-mix protein powders dissolve well with no lumps. One great thing about having the blender ball remain in the drink is that you can swirl or shake your drink as you're drinking it, because some parts of the protein powder tend to sink to the bottom. The only drawback I can think of is that vigorous shaking incorporates a lot of air and your drink will be very foamy for a few minutes.
