You'll never go back to the stained plastic and broken glass world of drip coffemakes when you purchase this kitchen classic. Its design has been around for a long time and is now timlessly retro. Sturdy, durable and reliable, we have been fans of this coffeemaker for decades. It brews a strong cup of coffee and keeps it warm for a long time, even after you unplug it. We drink a lot of coffee and would never switch to another kind - or brand - of coffee maker. The model I own was made in the Bronx and is probably 10 years old. From what I've read, these are now manufactured in China and have seen a noticeable drop in quality.Customer Review: I like it

I like this coffee maker.
Had it for about a month.
Pros:
makes good coffee, keeps it hot - performs better than the "mr. Coffee" type maker, takes up less space on your counter and looks nicer, (unless you like high tech), you don't have to worry about breaking glass carafes
Con's:
messy clean up, need to use "dip it" to get stains out of insides, still use a filter disk if you don't want coffee grinds in your teeth, the outside stainless / chrome finish after a month is starting to look aged. pricier than "Cheapie" coffee makers, less expensive than "high tech" makers

This pot replaces the same model from the Millenium Series. Because these percolators keep the coffee warm as long as it lasts, I have used the brand for many years (average life about 7-8 years). My only complaint with this particular pot is the lid is so snug that I have difficulty removing it and am concerned that the knob on the top will not survive for the life of the heating element.Customer Review: Farberware percolator

The proof of the pudding is in how long this pot lasts--I have had pots that lasted for 15 years, and some that lasted less than 15 months. We'll see how long this one goes.
So far so good on this pot. It's a percolator. Had to send one back, it didn't make coffee. This one does and the coffee is typical perked coffee--black and strong, the way we like it. Good!

I makes a great cup of coffee. It come out good and hot, and it stays hot.
I found that if your not careful in inserting the plug into the pot just right
it does not make contact.
Since I set up the pot the night before and plug it into a timer, I don't always
have it hot a ready to drink in the morning.
