This percolator makes the best coffee and keeps it piping hot. Comes with a heavy duty cord. Easy to clean and takes up little room on your counter. I have had one for several years. If you like an excellent cup of hot coffee, this is the coffee-maker for you. This was a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law who would not use anything but a Farberware coffeemaker. Product arrived promptly and without damage. I had one of these percolators prior to this, for 20 years, and was very happy with it, but it finally died. Christmas present. My sister broke her old percolator and wanted a new one - altho she has a drip type coffee maker this one makes great coffee especially smaller amounts. This coffee pot is the best. Farberware is the only electric coffee pot that I have ever used over the last 35 years. I love it. It makes great coffee, it's easy to clean and I would defintely recommend it to anyone interested in purchasing one.
