I've tried many different ways to brew good coffee, but always return to stainless steel and Farberware. Plastic and aluminum give even the best brews that yucky aftertaste. This one not only brews a great cup of coffee, it keeps the remainder at just the right temperature so that it doesn't become bitter in a few hours. Keeping the pot full and ready for company works perfectly for me. Now I need to see how well the pot holds up to daily use. So far, so good.Customer Review: Makes the BEST coffee!

This is the second Farberware percolator I've purchased. I bought a Cusinart after my first Farberware finally died and was so disappointed with it that I purchased a new Farberware 2 weeks after I bought the Cuisinart (which only actually brewed coffee every third time you used it and then didn't make it hot enough. What a waste of $$$) If you love very hot, great brewed coffee, this is the perculator for you!

I had the exact coffee pot for many years and always loved it. One day I tried to brew coffee and forgot to put water in it. Of course, the pot was ruined. I couldn't find it in the stores, but was able to order it through Amazon. I still love it! It brews the best coffee, quickly with little or no grinds in the pot. Easy to use and clean. This percolator makes the best, hottest coffee, and it's very durable. I have had mine (in great working order) for 15 years. My grandmother has had hers (still working fine) for 35 years! We've both had to replace the power cord once or twice. But that's been its only repair. I make about 10 cups a day and I enjoy every drop!
