Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Farberware FCP412 12-Cup Percolator, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Exactly as Promised Summary: 4 Stars
CoffeePot is a little larger than expected but exactly as represented in listing. Excellent delivery.
Customer Review: Not happy with it, poor design. Summary: 3 Stars
I always have owned a Farberware Percolator now and in the past. This is by far not up to the quality standard of being named Farberware. I am so very disappointed in the quality an design in this version as to the past versions I have owned. They look the same, but they are not. The new cord has solved the problem every one was talking about with over heating so that is fine.
Try to pour yourself a cup of coffee out of this thing; you had better have a cloth to wipe up! I hate it, I have tried everything even removing the ground to see if that would make it work better as far as pouring. It has a glug glug kind of pour instead of a nice steady stream of coffee pouring into your cup, it makes a total mess. Ladies don't use this at the table in front of guest, I did and made a mess the first time, now I use it in the sink and take the cups to the table.
It still make a good cup of coffee and I have always been a Farberware coffee person, along with the rest of my girlfriends (about a dozen), I have all 3 sizes, like most of them do also. But this is the newest pot purchased and we all hate the way it pours!!!

Customer Review: Great while it lasts! Summary: 3 Stars
We purchased our most recent Farberware percolator to replace one that no longer perked long enough (it lasted 4 years). We have used this same model coffee maker for probably 30 years (since Corning quit making their porcelain model). We have owned @ 8 through the years. and since first trying Farberware, have not used any other brand. However, with each new percolator, we have found that their life gets shorter. This latest machine quit this morning, after less than ½ year of service. They make a great cup of rich coffee while they last but they are no longer the reliable appliance they once were. We're going to try a Cuisinart and hope for the same great flavor of perked coffee plus greater reliability.
Customer Review: A little disappointed Summary: 3 Stars
I had been given a smaller Faberware a few years back and loved it. So I ordered this one expecting the same. However, I have 3 complaints. This one has no outside clear cylinder to see how much water you have put in and then add more or pour some out sepnding on what you wanted. I have to take it over to the light and look inside and try to see the faint makings there. Secondly, there is no little red light that comes on when the coffee is ready. Lastly, When you pour the coffee, the stream is very thin. They should have made the hole at the base of the spout bigger.
Customer Review: Great while it works Summary: 3 Stars
I've had one of these for a year and a half, and while it still makes great coffee, it also makes a great mess as it's developed a leak where the side of the pot is joined with the bottom. Customer service (It's not even Farberware anymore) was polite but firm that the one-year warranty was up. Unlike the other person who was offered a refurbished unit, I didn't even get that option. Oh well, they used to be a good name, but now that they're made offshore by a different company, they appear to be disposable.
