If you like hot,, delicious coffee in the morning (or anytime), you must buy this percolator. I have owned them for decades, literally. and without fail, they make the best coffee this side of your favorite donut shop. The coffee is hot, unlike those lame drip machines, and delish!! You can buy the cheapest coffee in the market, and still it comes out tasting great, and in an instant. The machine lasts endlessly (unless you put the whole thing in the dishwasher-not recommended), and you don't ever have to buy a filter. I HAVE JUST PURCHASED FROM AMAZON THE FARBERWARE 4 CUP PERCOLATOR. AMAZON HAD THE BEST PRICE. THIS COFFEEPOT HAS BEEN MY FAVORITE FOR AT LEAST 20 YEARS, IT IS VERY FAST, COFFEE IS MADE IN 5 SECONDS AND THE AROMA IS WONDERFUL. LIKE I SAID, AMAZON HAD THE BEST PRICE, SINCE MACY'S HAD IT FOR $50. I BELIEVE IT IS $33 FROM AMAZON.

This is the second one of these I have had. I finally burned out the other one after many years of use. One of the things I love about this is that if you like a really hot cup of coffee, this gives it to you. I actually have to put one piece of ice in my mug just to cool it down enough to drink. Also, it brews the coffee really fast. If you travel a lot and like to have fresh brewed coffee for instance in your hotel room, this pot is small enough to pack and take with you.
I definitely recommend this percolator. I wouldn't be without it.

I replaced my Mr Coffee 4-cup coffee maker with a Farberware 4-cup percolator. This unit is entirely stainless steel on the inside.
Because the hot water does not touch aluminum, plastic or paper, the coffee flavor is terrific.
There is slightly more work to clean the percolator, but I'll trade extra cleaning for better flavor any day.
Since I discovered Folgers Simply Smooth blend, my only regret is not buying an 8-cup unit.
A percolator, by the way, gets more flavor than a drip maker out of the same amount of coffee grounds.

My parents love this coffee pot. Keeps the coffee really hot, quick, great for a household of two.
I originally bought this percolator for my parents a year or two ago. The electrical cord would burn out/not work, Farberware replaced it in full.
More than a year plus later same thing happened to the second one. So, I bought another one for them. Now, the GOOD NEWS: on the 3rd and hopefully last, same pot but new sturdy cord. My parents never wanted a different brand. Just a better Farberware, and they got it.
