Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Farberware FCP240 2-4-Cup Percolator, Stainless SteelCustomer Review: Best Coffee Maker Summary: 5 Stars
In my opinion, the Farberware FCP240 Electric Percolator is the best coffee maker one could own. To have really great coffee you need a great coffee maker -- this is the one. This stainless steel percolator makes an impressive, hearty, full-flavored pot of coffee. The percolated coffee flavor is far superior to the "drip" made version and this percolator is very easy to clean. It's quick too -- perking approximately one cup per minute -- that's less than five minutes for this four cup pot.
I've owned several versions of this model over the last 30 years and I'll keep coming back for more as long as Farberware continues to manufacture them. This is a quality item that won't disappoint.
Customer Review: I love this little thing! Summary: 5 Stars
I have never been able to make a successful cup of coffee using a drip coffee-maker. The brew always came out lukewarm with a taste that only inspired a scowl. This little percolator, however, has been my coffee salvation. The beverage comes out steaming hot and the second cup is as hot as the first. The taste is consistent and exactly how I like it. I do find myself making a pot of coffee at night, which I never would have even thought to do before this little wonder. It's easier to clean than a drip machine as well. I love it so much that I ordered another one for my mother-in-law. Why percolators went out of fashion I'll never know because it's such an improvement over drip makers. Buy it and enjoy!
Customer Review: How cute is this...??? Summary: 5 Stars
Honestly, this thing is so cute and small. Beautiful stainless steel and such a nice size. I don't see it being obstrusive at all at a buffet table or on the dinner table during convo's. Haven't used it yet, but I don't think it will be a problem. I grew up loving the smell of percolators' at an elderly woman's home that I loved like a Grandma. I can't wait to plug it in and be brought back to then.

Still loving this little percolator. Have used it for a few functions.... that wonderful aroma wafted throughout the house. Brewed very quickly and kept the coffee so very hot. Still a wonderful buy for us!
Customer Review: great coffee Summary: 5 Stars
I was concerned that my drip coffee-maker had been in service too long - the inside was not open to being cleaned, but it appeared there was some sort of mold-build up.
So I tried the Faberware percolated model, based on the recommendation of others on amazon. It works terrific - coffee is HOT - unlike coffee from drip coffee-makers. And I can clean out the inside - unlike the drip models, where the inside is sealed-off (and mold may build up).
I would only recommend that if you want the 4-cup model, you might want to jump up to the next larger capacity. 4 cups equal 2 mugs, so if you want more than 2 mugs, go to next larger size.
Customer Review: Worth the wait Summary: 5 Stars
Last year I was looking for a small coffee pot to take on our road trips as I do not like the coffee made in most hotel coffeemakers. This litte pot was on backorder and I purchased the larger 8 cup Fabreware pot instead. I worked great however, a bit bulky for travelling. So I kept looking for the availabity of the 4 cup. Recently it became available and I bought it. It works just as good as the 8 cup but more compact.
Definitely a must have. In addition, it is nostalgic as most mom's and grandmom's had one back in the day and as I sip a coffee my mind goes back to all the great conversations we had in the kitchen over a pot of coffee.
