Good Morning! We love our Black & Decker waffle maker. We used it twice. I make my own batter and make up the batch and freeze the ones we don't eat for later. I didn't understand the instructions on how the light works and after a few times of using it I see the screw on the hinge was loose. My husband checked it out and the black plastic screw was cracked. I called customer service and this lady helped me to understand the way the light works and is sending me new screws in the mail. It can't get better then that. I put 1 cup full of batter in it and spread batter around. I don't have any mess to clean up or oozing into the back hing compartment. We would highly recommend this Black & Decker Waffle Maker.
