I purchased this can opener to make things easier for me because of severe arthritis. I am sadly disappointed in this product. It is extremely difficult to line up the opener on any size can. Having had an older model of the B&D cordless can opener, I have always liked the product and the mobility it offers. Due to the loss of the magnet in a recent move, I ordered the new one and it has all of the features and convenience of the older one with contemporary styling.
