I am very pleased with this can opener. It takes a little practice to get the hang of it, but once you do it's easy to use.It holds a charge for a long time and is super-lightweight.
It will move easily around larger cans so you don't get the marks all over the counters from spinning the cans around the opener. (or is this just a problem I have?!)
I highly recommend this model.... I wasn't sure this would be any good because of the price. Happily I didn't get burned --
I took a chance on it and I'm glad I did. It runs rings around my expensive one that only lasted 3 years.

Lightweight and cordless, it is a dream to use in the kitchen. It's three best features are the automatic stop when it has completely opened the can, the locking feature which eliminates the need to hold the trigger down while it is operating, and the fact that on large, heavy cans, you can just let go of it and it walks itself around the can until the lid is completely cut open. Too, if you need to open a large can outside of the kitchen, the garage for instance, it's immediately available. I first got one of these about 7 years ago as a gift and LOVED it. When the battery on the original one played out, I began a search to find one just like it. Simply put, once you have used a can opener such as this, another won't do. I could not find one of these at any of our neighborhool retail outlets, but was happy to find it at Amazon.com. We used our manual opener until the replacement cordless opener arrived. This can opener takes up very little counter space, looks good and is very easily cleaned---terrific item!!Customer Review: Best Can Opener Ever

This little opener is wonderful. I've had it over 2 yrs. Takes very little counter space, super easy to use, no spilled cans, never the wrong size, etc. And it's so easy even for my arthritic hands.
It takes a little getting used to, and learning how to position it. I don't have much patience and I got pretty frustrated. Now I'm used to it and it's just great. I would recommend this to anyone and in fact just got one for my sister for Christmas. And my husband really likes it too, so not just a female gadget.Customer Review: GREAT little can opener

I have weak wrists and I wanted a good electric can opener, but I disliked the standard style. I saw this reviewed and highly recommended and decided to give it a try. I love this little gadget! After piercing the can (which as noted in the reviews, is difficult to get the hang of at first) you squeeze the lever and the little guy takes off on its own, opening the can completely with a smoothe edge in the can! As noted, the charger takes up very little counter space, much less than the average electric can opener.
