Black & Decker JW400 Lids Off Open-It-All CenterGood product. Gotta be very careful how you use it! The can opener control will come off in your hands (designed for easy cleaning) and the jar opener requires exact centering of the jar or CRUNCH no JAR! Once you learn how to use it, it works very well, especially for those who have little strength in their arm(s) like my wife (result of a stroke). Recommended only if you have the patience to learn to use it properly (which is easy to do) and then use it properly. I wouldn't hestitate to buy another for a gift or even for myself.Customer Review: A verrry good opener

I was looking for a new can opener because I got one that was battery
operated and it was not getting the job done. So when I went to the
enternet and saw the black & decker open it all center I was so
excited because my husband and I are not able too open jars anymore
and let me tell you the jar opener is a big blessing. My only concern
would be at this time is more company are putting pull top lids on the
cans now so we are getting back to having a hard time opening cans.

I got this because my wife has problems opening anything due to an injury in her hand. I thought it was going to save me from opening every single item in the house. It does that when I am not home, otherwise, I am still the jar opener.
It works as expected and I can't complain about it really. It came recommended by our hand surgeon and that is why we got it. Only complaints is that it doesn't work on very small tops but they do have to be very small. Overall, a good product if I could get my wife to use it when I am around.

The opener worked pretty much as advertised with the exception of taller jars that would not open if they were sealed to tightly. I got it back from my in-laws because my mother in law isn't fond of having gadgets sitting all over her counter and she tired of getting it in and out of the cupboard. I bought this device for my mother. She simply does not have the strength to open jars or cans with a hand held can opener. This little gem does both with ease. The can opener works great and the jar opener takes care of almost all jars. There have only been a couple of small slick jars that it could not grab onto to open. Otherwise, she is very happy with it.
