We have always loved seafood, but snapper and salmon done in this steamer have been fantastic! The steamer is easy to use, easy to clean, and produces delectable food! Having a double decker makes it possible to do a whole meal that is nutritious and delicious. The spice pocket at the bottom is the greatest surprise, especially if one uses herbes de province.Customer Review: Excellent Product

We had a very old model of the Black and Decker Steamer/Rice cooker.
It was terrific but died after probably 15 years.
This is just a new improved version of our original.
We have been very pleased with the new one.
The only fault I have is no cook book came with it.
Luckily we still have the book that came with our original.

It's great, turn it on the appropriate time listed and you never have to worry about overcooked vegetables. Rice comes out perfect. I had the single deck steamer before and when I had to replace it I purchased the double deck, so I could cook rice and a vegetable at the same time. ....SORTA.....MY AKITA CHEWED UP THE RICE BOWL...OF MY NEW STEAMER. TO REPLACE THE RICE BOWL COST ALMOST AS MUCH AS A NEW STEAMER, SO I OPTED FOR THE SECOND NEW STEAMER. AT LEAST I WILL HAVE SOME SPARE PARTS JUST IN CASE. I WON'T BE LEAVING THE RICE BOWL IN THE KITCHEN SINK THIS TIME. THIS STEAMER IS VERY VERSATILE AND EASY TO USE.Customer Review: Super steamer

We've had and used this steamer at least once every day for years. It has held up terrific and does a great job for steaming vegetables, cooking rice and other grains, and reheating leftovers. I love the double decker, for doing two at one time. We upgraded from another B&D steamer that we just plain wore out after many years of use.
