This has to be the cutest and most efficient can opener we have ever owned. There are no sharp or rough edges on the cans when you open them. And you can just pop the lid right off into the garbage without worrying about cutting yourself. My girls get such a kick out of how the Gizmo goes around the can that I am not allowed to open anything until they are both in the room!!Customer Review: Best can opener...ever!

This is one of the best can openers I have ever had. When I make spaghetti sauce, I open about 5 cans. In between opening each can I could empty it into the pot and stir. By the time I'm done, the next can is ready to empty. It's great! I use the gizmo all the time and I haven't charged it but once or twice in the year that I've had it. I got this for Christmas and it is awesome... The people who say it doesn't hold a charge must not be clicking it all the way in charger. Once you see how, it is extremely easy and it works like a charm. And I don't usually like electric can openers. I would recommend it highly and give it as presents. We bought one of these about 5 years ago and it worked great for almost all of that time. The last few months it appeard that the battery was giving up so we bought a replacement from Amazon. This replacement fit straight back into the original holder without any hasstle.
Hopefully it will provide as many care free years as the previous unit.

I love my Gizmo, although I bought it for husband. Every time I use it I realize how handy it is and easy to use. It holds a charge for a very long time, almost 6 mos. I keep it in the drawer and it is always ready. You just position it on the lid and let go, it walks around and stops when finished. Great invention. Small and compact and no mess.
