I have had this product for 2 years now. My sister had hers for 4 years. When my last can opener went, she recommended this to me. I would now recommend it to anyone. I even went out and got one for my aunt. I have read reviews about this product that say it is very hard to get onto the can. We just got the Gizmo and we love it We were a little reluctant to order it because of the reviews, but because of a friends recommendation got it anyway. We haven't had any problems with it and it works great! It's as easy as a regular can opener. After my wife removed the Gizmo from the charger, opened the can, and replaced it back into the charger, she looked at me and said "That wasn't so hard, what's so difficult!"Customer Review: Super Gizmo

This is the neatest can opener you will ever own. I have had mine for six months and absolutely love it. I love the feature where you can remove it and let it run around the top of large cans. It holds the charge for a long time. It says it will hold the charge for a month of can openings, but I don't usually keep it off the holder long enough to find out. Tried a few of these battery operated can openers. None of them worked out for me..Until I purchased this one... Easy to operate. First try and it opened the can with ease.. Have had it a month now, and have opened every size can you can think of. Never had a problem. I have been using Gizmo for two months and didn't see anything wrong. I really don't understand why people have such a bad experience with this simple wonderful opener. It is easy to use and it's cute. Just charge and fully recharge everytime do nothing after that. Even watching that small thing while it is working is fun. Don't listen other people complain just go with it.5 out of 5.
