Customer Review: The BEST steamer 5 Stars
I bought my first B&D steamer about 15 years ago, and it just now went kaput: The time just refuses to time the steaming. So I've just ordered another here on Amazon. I was really concerned that B&D did not make them anymore as I've not seen them in any of the usual stores you'd usually find one. My mother and I both own one of these wonderful Black and Deckers vegetable cooker, rice steamers. My mother had use hers so much that she had simply worn hers out. I wanted to give her a new one for Christmas, but I couldn't find her this exact model anywhere in our area. I grew up with this steamer. When I went away to college I wore it out! When I graduated and got married I wore out another one before our first year was done. I am currently on my third and have been gentle with it since they seem to be getting harder and harder to find. Steaming is my choice for vegetable preparation and for years I used a steamer insert in a pan. I have a four burner stove so frequently I ran into a space problem. This product took care of that problem for me. Just plug it in, fill it up, set the timer and you've got perfectly steamed vegetables. For the price you can't beat it.Customer Review: Steamer

This thing is totally AWESOME! I have done rice, all kinds of veggies, chicken, and even homemade tamales. It made a wonderful addition to my kitchen and is an appliance that still gets used over and over again! I would recommend this over a rice cooker because you can do so much more with it and it still makes great sticky rice.
