This is a good knife for everyday use. It slices bread and meats thin and evenly. The only complaints I have are that the safety switch is awkward to use and it's a bit noisy. But overall I'm happy with the product and would recommend it - plus the price is hard to beat.Customer Review: EK700 price variation.

Had this knife for a few months. Great little knife, the only thing i'd change about it is the blade holder for when you're putting it away. its just a little plastic piece that was lost with in 2 uses :)Customer Review: Good product

The EK700 works well for more tender cuts, but some tougher cuts (e.g. cold beef brisket) require more work than expected, which makes thin, consistent slices difficult to make.
