Customer Review: This is Electric Knife is Terrific!!!!!!

I have always used electric knives to slice all the roasts which I cook, including, beef, pork, chicken and turkey. I have gotten tired of using knives and becoming dull, tearing the meat, and not working for more than 3 months. I bought this knife on the advise of the American Test Kitchens stating that this knife was one of the best. They are right. This is the best knife that I have used. I carved the Thanksgiving Day Turkey with it and it sliced that turkey like butter. No tearing or fighting with the blades to cut the meat. It fits in my hand like a glove, easy to run. I also like the safety switch on the on button. Push the slide button to the left,then press the on switch and it stays on until you release the on switch, when you are all done with the slicing, you press the slide button to the right and it locks the unit so it cannot be turn on. Blades go into the unit easily. Best little unit I have ever used. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who uses an electric knife.

For some reason, over the years we have gotten away from seeing what once was all the rage in home appliances. Maybe because this is one of those appliances you only think about several times a year during those Holidays when you want to slice that Turkey or Turkey breast. Or the Easter Ham. We had talked about getting an electric knife since the one we had was long since gone from our collection of kitchen appliances. I did some research and found that indeed, electric knives were still around and in fact a few had some features (safety type) which one should look for in purchasing this type product. We found the Black and Decker that we purchased was one such electric knife and could not be happier with our purchase. It has now been "scratched" off our bucket list of things we someday would purchase.Customer Review: Great Little Knife

I bought this knife to slice my homemade bread and it works just as I intended it to. I must admit the first time I used it I got bread between the two blades but it was MY error. You have to be careful to insert the blades correctly and make sure the tab on the one blade is securely
in the slot on the other blade. Once I figured this out there was no problem. I have also used the knife to carve
my roasts, ham and cut sandwiches. Great size, it fits my
hand just fine and I had no problem with the locking feature either. Just take another second and make sure the
lock is off.

I have had several electric knives over the past 40+ years, and this is one of the best. I have used it to carve a turkey and slice home made rye bread. It cut through the turkey like a hot knife through butter. I was able to make the slices as thin or thick as I wanted. It easily sliced the rye bread; and, again, I was able to make slices as uniform and thin as I wanted. The slices looked as if they were made by a professional slicing machine. Slicing meats and homemade breads was a big pain. I always ended up with mangled pieces of meat and swashed bread. Terribly frustrating! I begged my husband for an electric knife so he let me get one for my birthday last year. LOVE THIS KNIFE! It's sharp, makes clean even cuts, and leaves my food looking as good as it tastes. Clean-up is super quick because the blades just pop in the dishwasher. Anyone who cooks or has a loved one who does should have this knife in their arsenal.
