Customer Review: Can you give an item 10 stars?
Summary: 5 Stars

This thing rocks. There is no other way to put it.

I gave it to my mother as a "replacement" Christmas gift and she loves it.

First, I spent about $60 and bought her a Magic Bullet. It was anything but magical. It got brought back to Linens and Things by New Years.

For $20 I figured I'd give this thing a try. It's now May, and there isn't a conversation that passes where I don't hear "and that chopper you got me is so wonderful."

I had played with it myself and can say it is a easy to use, and more importantly easy to clean up to container.

The BEST part: With only two settings, it is more than capable of doing a variety of chops, from course to fine. Just keep hitting the buttons until you like what you see in the clear container.

Dollar for dollar, this is by far the best christmas gift I've ever given anyone.

Customer Review: sharp
Summary: 3 Stars

the chopper is sharp and fast. the clean up for the blade and the bowl is quite easy, however the top part needs to be wipped frequently, or it will be a hassel to clean. the razor is very sharp, TOO SHARP. be extra careful when handeling do not put the chopper anywhere a kid can reach. if you do not want whatever you're chopping to be minced then you need to use pulses, and after each pulse you have to open and stir, for sometimes the bigger parts of the chopped stuff will either stick to the side (which the blade cannot reach, or slip under. I just give two pulses, then remove the big pieces empty the bowl and repeat with the bigger pieces sometimes, I just through the biggger pieces out if Im not in the mood.
hope this helped.

Customer Review: outstanding!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this on a whim because I was so frustrated with my 3-cup cuisinart food processor; I am so happy I did because this is an outstanding processor/chopper! It is so simple to use, no twisting on of lids, no jamming of parts and its pretty quiet compared to my other food processor. It doesn't do a big quantity of food at a time, about 1/2 a large onion, but it chops things quickly and very finely too. I love the ease of use: drop the blade in, drop the food in and just place the top on and push the button! When done lift lid off and lift blade out, no twisting and turning.... it's great. I had severe arthritis in my hands and this is the nicest, gentlest processor I have ever used. Even the operating of the control buttons is easier; just lay your hand on top and your fingers naturally lay across the blue controls. I am so excited about this that I'm getting one for my sisters and mom!

Customer Review: Superior chopper
Summary: 5 Stars

Powerful, comfortable, quick. Double blade does not miss a thing.

Dishwasher cleanup, handy cover for storage of chopped food.

Excellent!

Customer Review: Almost perfect, simple appliance (but one flaw)
Summary: 4 Stars

This is only the 2nd kitchen gadget I've liked so much that I bought a second one - it is perfect for small chopping jobs and cleaning it is really easy, you don't have to take it all apart like a regular or mini- food processor. Just lift the top, take the blade out, clean the blade and the cup and that's it (yes, you do have to wipe down the underside of the lid, but a damp sponge takes care of that in 5 seconds).

There is a design flaw though - there isn't enough reinforcement where the blade spindle plugs into the bottom of the cup, so after several years of use, the plastic around the spindle cracked, and the spindle came loose. I glued it a few times but it didn't last, so that's why I purchased a second chopper.

To avoid this, from now on I'm going to store the chopper with the blade NOT on the spindle - that way if the top gets bumped around, it won't put any stress on the blade and then on the spindle.
