We bought this unit to do very course chopping, like for broccoli in broccoli beef, and it just isn't made to do that. The stuff comes out uneven and it's faster to just chop it with a knife.
This product is probably better for mincing. They call it a chopper, so we were expecting it could chop. It can't.

My old Black & Decker food chopper broke that I owned for 10 years at least, so I went and bought other brands of food choppers. I took them all back because they could not compare to the B&D I had. I did a search on Amazon and decided to give this one a try. I absolutely love it! It's so quiet compared to my old one and there is no lining up the cup with the base of the machine like my old one. The large capacity is certainly a plus along with the low/high speeds. I would give this a 5 star and encourage you to buy it. You won't be sorry. Customer Review: Eh. So so.
