Sorry - this is not a review - question for those posting reviews.
I'm looking for info on how long it takes this coffeemaker to make a cup of hot water. Considering purchasing as gift, and can't find that info anywhere on their website!
If you've used this to make tea or hot chocoloate, can you tell me how long it takes to heat up a cup of water?

I purchased it and want to tell you, IT'S GREAT!!! love the no fuss, no mess and the great automatic shut off is a very nice feature... i followed the advice of another reviewer and add a little filter into the little filter to keep the coffee fresh... It's great for making a cup at a time which is what I wanted. The cup has to be small but as it turned out I had one that fits great. Quick - less then a minute. I did do like other reviewers and bought some #2 coffee filters - cut them to fit easy to do just round off the top of filter. Makes a good cup of coffee. I have had a cup at a time since I was 18 and that has been 20 or so years now. When I was single and just wanted one cup of Joe it was perfect. Not only making a flavorful cup but, it was hot and tasty. You can also quick brew tea, if you wash the filter well between cups.The only problem I could think of is it only comes in white. ohh well. You shouldn't get this is you like to drink multiple cups of coffee or have a big thermos, but other than that it is wonderful. I've had like for over two years now and it still works great, I love the reusable filters because you don't have to keep buying new ones. I'm not a coffee connoisseur by any means, but I've never had any trouble with weird tasting coffee.
