Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Black & Decker DCM7 Cup-at-a-Time Personal 12-Ounce Coffeemaker, WhiteCustomer Review: It Keeps Going and Going.... Summary: 5 Stars
I've had this product for at least 5 years, and it still works as well as the day I got it. I love having only a single cup to go. It can be a pain to find the #1 coffee filters that go with this item, but usually I'll just buy the #2 filter (which is everywhere) and cut it to fit. Now I'm ready to buy a new one, b/c after that long, the white begins to look grungy. I'd like to find the same model in stainless steel. Not sure if they have it, but I'm about to look.
Customer Review: Perfect for a single cup Summary: 5 Stars
I have read a lot of reviews and must say this product works perfectly. Yes, there is a plastic taste the first couple of times you use it, but just be patient, it will disappear. Maybe use some great strong Kona coffee like I did. I get a perfect hot single cup of coffee. As for the mug, I must admit no mugs I had fit, but simply go to Walmart, measure how high your mug need to be using your finger, and I purchased 2 for under 5 bucks. Problem solved.
Customer Review: Cup at a Time Summary: 5 Stars
Over the years I have worn out several of these coffee makers. I have not found anything to compare favorably with them.I am the only coffee drinker in our household and this item does a beautiful job. I searched a number of stores, but I could not find a replacement for my last one. I thought why not check on the internet, and bingo there it was. I ordered one and within five days it was in my hands. I want to thank you for the excellent service.
Customer Review: love it Summary: 5 Stars
It sits in a corner of the counter, doesn't take up much space, easy to clean, delivers a hot cup of coffee in about 1 1/2 minutes or less (that's faster than a Bun!). I'm not a coffee hound, so this is perfect for me, & I don't end up throwing out left-over coffee. The average-sized coffee cup fits in it, & that's what keeps the cost low, by the customer providing their own cup (any coffee-drinker has several anyway). thanks for a great product!
Customer Review: Hardworking little coffeemaker Summary: 5 Stars
I bought a Black & Decker Cup at a Time coffee maker in 1996 from a graduating senior at my college. It just finally started having a bit of trouble (it didn't always process all of the water in the well), when it was well over 13 years old. I replaced it with this newer model, and the new one is plugging along nicely, and I hope to get 13 years of use from this one.
Love that it comes with a reusable filter!!
