Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Black & Decker DCM7 Cup-at-a-Time Personal 12-Ounce Coffeemaker, WhiteCustomer Review: Great for one person Summary: 5 Stars
My husband has been drinking instant coffee for years because he's the only one that drinks it and he's not going to make a big pot for himself. We were at a hotel that had a single-cup coffeemaker (with individual pods)and he commented that it would be nice to have one of those at home. I did some research and checked reviews and decided to get him this one. I particularly liked the reusable filter and using regular coffee rather than overpackaged and overpriced pods. He loves it! He uses it absolutely every morning and thinks I'm wonderful for getting it for him :-)
Customer Review: A MUST for travelling in Europe Summary: 5 Stars
Being English and spent 20 years in the USA, I did have a similar coffee maker when travelling around. This old faithfull packed up on me and the thought of paying five dollars at least for a cup of bad tasting coffee back here in Europe, I purchased this DCM7 and it does the job, a full cup in just over two minutes. It needs a voltage converter but I advise any one who loves their coffee get this DCM7 when travelling in Europe. It will pay for itself in no time and Starbuck's packaged coffee is available not only in their coffee houses but in all the large supermarkets.
Customer Review: 2nd Time Around Summary: 5 Stars
For me this is 2nd generation. I am one of those that needs a cup before I open my eyes and when I travel never count on the hotel to have a clean machine.
On a recent trip to Egypt, finally after 6 days I got my luggage with my B&D Cup at a time, now 10+ years old. Sorry to say it did not survive the journey. I buried it next to the Nile and as soon as I got home bought this one.
It has been updated to include a perment filter, and no machine will make a mug faster. I will be taking this machine on the 1st of many trips soon and cannot wait.
Customer Review: A GREAT coffee maker. Summary: 5 Stars
My former single cup Melita coffeemaker died after 16 long years of service. Being the only coffee drinker in my household, purchasing models capable of brewing up to 12 cups of coffee seemed like an untenable solution. The Black & Decker DCM7 Cup-At-A-Time Coffeemaker has proven to be a superior replacement. It is easy to use and clean. Brewing is quick and the coffee comes out piping hot. Melita No. 1 cone filters do not need to be trimmed with scissors, unless you use the wire basket filter. This is not necessary. I could not recommend this product more.
Customer Review: Best Dang Single Cup Coffee Maker Period. Summary: 5 Stars
This is our third B&D Cup At-A-Time Coffee Maker in 18 years, and I am very pleased with the product and price. Some review it is not big enough, to those I would suggest getting the B&D Coffee-to-Go model, it is taller, and comes with a travel mug to boot.
Our last Cup-at-a-Time coffee maker served 4 cups a coffee a morning for 5 years, without replacing any parts on it ever. The coffee is hot and ready to drink in a few minutes, love the product. Wish it came in an assortment of colors for the ladies, and in chrome or stainless steel for men.
