Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Black & Decker DCM7 Cup-at-a-Time Personal 12-Ounce Coffeemaker, WhiteCustomer Review: Product does not work Summary: 1 StarsThis one cup coffemaker from Black & Decker did not work properly the
first time, I used it. Instead of waiting until you pushed the button down to turn it on, it just started brewing on its own. So I had to pour in the water, put in the coffee and make sure I had the mug underneath the opening before I plugged it in or the water would come pouring out of it. My mother bought one of these brewers too, and it did the exact same thing mine did. I have had other brands of these one cuppers over the years, and none of them did what this one did. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
Customer Review: Black & Decker cup at a time coffeemaker, white Summary: 5 StarsThis is an excellent product. The coffee is fast, and very hot. It always makes hot water for tea or hot chocolate. Its a great product.
Customer Review: DON'T ORDER THIS PRODUCT Summary: 1 StarsThis product arrived without the cup and the polarized plug had been cut off. Doesn't do me much good. What kind of company ships broken and missing products?
Customer Review: A MUST for travelling in Europe Summary: 5 StarsBeing English and spent 20 years in the USA, I did have a similar coffee maker when travelling around. This old faithfull packed up on me and the thought of paying five dollars at least for a cup of bad tasting coffee back here in Europe, I purchased this DCM7 and it does the job, a full cup in just over two minutes. It needs a voltage converter but I advise any one who loves their coffee get this DCM7 when travelling in Europe. It will pay for itself in no time and Starbuck's packaged coffee is available not only in their coffee houses but in all the large supermarkets.
Customer Review: No wonder Starbucks just closed 600 stores. Summary: 5 StarsIn the time it'd take you to say, "I'll have a grande mocha cappuccino Al Pacino latte schmotta," you could make your own perfect cup of what the rest of us call "coffee." And instead of having to take out a mortgage to pay for your fancy-shmancy brew, you can buy this entire coffeemaker for what you'd spend on a few cups of Starbucks. Trust me -- you've known me long enough, right? -- the coffee that comes out of this little plastic barista tastes so good (assuming you throw decent enough coffee in), the real shame is that with only one cup, you can't share it with anyone. And whoever said the coffee tastes like plastic must've been chewing on their Lee Press-on nails 'cause I definitely didn't experience that. Plus this Cup-at-a-Time unit comes in a substantial-looking box, too, so nobody'll think you're cheaping out on them if you give it as a gift. Unless they happen to go on Amazon and check the price, so just in case, let me close by saying this coffeemaker is worth every penny of the $99.99 you pay for it.
