I'm so glad I found the customer reviews on this item! The best coffee maker I've owned! The carafe is sturdy and holds up to multiple dishwasher washings in a week. All the components fit into the station securely and I've not had a spillover problem as I have with other models. The coffee it brews is just excellent and I didn't even need to look at the manual as to how to program or use any of the functions. A real user friendly little gem and very reasonably priced. I bought mine in black and it still looks pristine. Highly reccommend!Customer Review: Works Fine

After reviwing various coffee makers using various website I finally decided on the Black & decker DCM2500B. I was looking for a coffee maker that would pour a cup of coffee without spilling or taking forever to pour. Having had a Krupps 10 cup maker I was greatly upset with how often the coffee dripped off of the bottom as I was pouring a cup of coffee. The Black & decker DCM2500B coffee maker does not spill a drop and makes coffee that taste just fine. I highly recommend this machine if you are looking for spill proof pouring.Customer Review: Great coffee pot

It get's the job done. I choose this model because of two features. 1st the auto turn off. I'm usually rushing out the door in the morings and have forgotten to turn off my coffee pot on more occassions then I like to remember. I no longer have to worry with this machine. Two hours after it's brewed it turns it's self off. And 2nd I love the program mode. There is nothing better then having coffee ready to drink the second you get out of bed. I am a coffee addict and have gone through several coffee makers. Mr. Coffee gave up the ghost. Braun clogged. The cheap brands died early. Most of them leaked and few had a quick cup feature that lasted more than a month. This is the first good brewer that I have owned. It is well designed. The filling is as it should be ... and works! The stopper performs well and hasn't leaked a drop whenever I have removed the carafe in the midst of brewing. I bought this because of the other positive reviews and I am 100% happy.Customer Review: A Great Pour

This is a fine coffeemaker. I'm not a particularly "gourmet" coffee drinker. Over the years, my main complaint with many brewers, even expensive ones, is that when pouring the coffee, there always is a spillage that doesn't make it into the cup. It runs down the carafe, spilling onto the counter. This problem has been solved by the flat shape of the pouring area. Not a drop goes astray. The Black and Decker folks have designed the carafe to perfection!! And by the way..... the coffee is excellent.
