I've had the Black & Decker Brew & Go for 6+ years and have had no problem with it. I use #2 unbleached filters, 2 very heaping tablespoons (plus a little extra) per mug, and within a couple minutes coffee's ready to go, conveniently right the good-sized insulated mug with cover. I've never had any of the problems mentioned by other reviewers. The turn-off works great, no problems with the filter or anything else. I'm perfectly happy with it and will probably buy another one if this one ever breaks.Customer Review: Love it!

I know of people who have had trouble with this product, and I did too initially. Then I figured out NOT to use the mesh coffee filter that came it! I don't know why it doesn't always work right when you do use it (the percolating coffee overflows sometimes), but there you have it. I started using the small paper filters in place of their mesh filter and haven't had a lick of trouble since! (The 16 oz. white styrofoam cups work perfectly with this little jewel as well!)Customer Review: Get for college dorm

I made the mistake of buying my son a regular size coffeemaker in his Freshman year of college; he never used it even though he drinks coffee every morning. This year I bought him this one cup, ready to go, coffeemaker. He uses it every day! The cup is a "To-go-cup", so he doesn't have to brew a whole pot of coffee and then transfer the coffee to a cup that he can take out the door with him.
No wasted coffee and convenient to transport.

I bought this as a holiday gift for a coffee-drinking co-worker who didn't like the pod-brewing system the office uses. Now the pod-brewing system is barely used, as most of the office uses the Brew 'N Go for their coffee too. It only takes a few minutes to brew a very hot cup of coffee. You can use different sized cups with it because you add the water to brew the amount you want. The filter is easy to clean, just dump and rinse. My apartment kitchen has no counter space. Reason for purchase #1. Bought one for my mom - loves it! Just purchased another one for work. Works great. Just the right size & price!! I use the Melitta #1 filters @ work. Easier to clean. I decided to buy one after a co-worker let me use the one she keeps at work. Takes up very little space. The noise it makes does not bother me at all. Don't have to worry about coffee getting old sitting in a pot!
