Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Black & Decker DCM18 Brew 'N Go Coffeemaker

Customer Review: Fabulous!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This Black & Decker is the best investment I made and put away my Bunn 10 cup. I use Folgers Classic Breakfast Blend using 1-1/2 tblsp. The accompanying cup is 15oz which is really nice opposed to a 6-8oz fill with other brands. I then pour into my thermos insulated 16oz tumbler which keeps it hot for 2 hours, if required. The built in filter has been perfect for me. I use a measuring cup for filling the water compartment as pours without spilling. After the 15oz cup is filled, I remove the filter basket and clean before removing the cup from the coffee maker base. This is one fine coffee maker which tastes the same as my once Bunn machine.

Customer Review: I Like This!
Summary: 5 Stars

After 11 years my Brew'n Go finally died. Actually, a small plastic regulator finally broke apart (with provocation) and the unit ceased to function properly. I have used my coffee maker almost daily in the time that I owned it, and this is the third one that I have purchased in over 20 years. I would say that that is a pretty good investment track record for a pretty good product. My regular coffee cup fits under the dispenser hole so I don't have to use the one provided if I don't care to do so, and a quick, careful rinse under the tap cleans out the water reservoir in case I get too messy putting coffee grounds into the brewing basket.

Customer Review: Great machine!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've had three of these little brewers. Wore the first one out after about 5 years -- prematurely I suppose, but for 18 bucks what can you expect -- and then bought two more about 4 years ago. All have worked well, brew a great cup of coffee and are simple as all get out to use: coffee in, water in, poke the button, out comes as good a coffee as the ingredients you put in. Even my 85-year-old mother has one -- a fourth one -- and runs it without much problem -- though she does have a tendency to scatter the grounds into the water container if the filter is in the brewer. So takes it out to put the coffee in. Simple. And good coffee.

Customer Review: Simple, functional and flawless
Summary: 5 Stars

After a year of use, this performs as flawlessly as it did on day one. The cup that comes with it is pretty cheap, but there's no reason you can't use your own as long as it has the same capacity. The heat is consistent and for those that say it overflows, it's unimaginable that this can happen since all you do is fill up the water to the line and pushing the button. There are no timers or complex systems to go wrong, just water to pour in, a button to push, and hot coffee that's going to come out with strength relative to how much coffee you put into the filter. There's absolutely no reason to buy a more expensive machine.

Customer Review: The Product is fantastic.

I'm a single(but looking) guy. I enjoy a cup of coffee upon waking or on my way to work. I tried everything from ONECUPS BAGS to Instant,,,,trying to simplify the process and have one cup of coffee...without effort and waste.
The Brew N' Go allows me to wake up, stumble into the kitchen and create a solid cup of coffee with absolutely no hassle.
I love the permenant filter and the auto-shut-off.
I actually bought one for my office and have given several to my friends.
In each instance, those friends bought additional ones for gifts.
You can spend more on similar items but there is no need to.
