I had my old under counter can opener for over 20 years. I finally needed a new one because the blade wasn't working.
This one is nice in looks, it works well, but it is much slower than my original one was the day I threw it out.
But it works and opens the cans, so I guess that is all that matters.

The opener itself functions fine. The only issue I have is that it has to be mounted so close to the front edge of the cabinet to allow the handle to clear. The lower lip of our cabinet is only 1/2" but that's too much to properly mount this opener without using all the included shims plus extra spacers.Customer Review: Works well, Good value

I purchased this to replace my slowly dying and aging GE spacemaker. This unit is stylish and for the money it works fine with no problems. Installing it was easy, too bad it didn't match the holes from my previous one, but oh well. Granted it is not a $200 Bosch but you get what you pay for.Customer Review: B&D Under Cabinet Can Opener

This opener was the only under counter can opener I have found in the black and stainless steel color. It works and looks good with my other kitchen appliances. The only problem I have had is that the lifting mechanism (or cutter) will come off too easily for cleaning.
