I have never had a rice cooker before but I decided to get one since I am focused on eating healthier and most of the "good" rice takes forever to cook. I read quite a bit of reviews on Amazon and decided to get this one. It is really easy to use and a breeze to clean. I don't really care about the exact measurements of rice it actually cooks, I just care about the tasty rice it makes. I know tons of reviews on all types of rice cookers complain that it's not technically a full cup of rice. Who cares? It still tastes the same, right? Anyways, I used chicken broth in making the whole grain brown rice/wild rice mix. It had so much flavor that I didn't need any salt or other seasonings. I put the rice and the chicken broth using the "cup" that was included, set the button on "cook" and completely and happily forgot about it until dinged to let me know it was done. It came out perfect and I like that I don't have to worry about remembering to stir it like cooking on the stove top. I also like the fact that this rice cooker is small and takes up so little space on my kitchen counter. I am looking forward to experimenting more in cooking with this versatile little rice cooker. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an inexpensive, easy to clean, easy to use rice cooker.
