Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Bialetti Moka Express 3-Cup Stovetop PercolatorCustomer Review: mmmm good Summary: 4 StarsThis unit makes two good sized lattes or cappuccinos that are quite tasty. I also like the espresso once in a while for a change of pace. The only thing is that I sometimes have trouble making the brew. Sometimes it brews up just fine but other times the water doesn't seem to go up into the chamber, or just a bit of it does and it spurts and burns. I wish I could figure out if I am doing something wrong because I do like the Moka it makes. Also, this is a very good price for the product.
Customer Review: Great Coffee Summary: 5 StarsForget about drip coffeemakers! Get a Moka Express. Easy to use and tastes great. We will soon be adding the Brikka!
Customer Review: Too small Summary: 3 StarsThis Bialetti Stovetop Percolator works well, but the 3-cup is more like one tiny cup. If you make coffee for more than yourself, get a bigger one. If it's for one person who doesn't drink much coffee, its perfect. The brand is great, and product makes great coffee. Just too small for my husband and I to only make one batch at a time.
Customer Review: More like a 2 cup, but still great! Summary: 4 StarsI have had no problems with this espresso maker, other than it only makes 2 cups...not 3. It looks nice, cleans well, and I have used it almost 10 times without any problems.
PROS: Makes great espresso.
CONS: 2 cups, not 3.
SUMMARY: For the price, it is ok. It is not an amazing device for a great price. I would only recommend spending a little more money to get a larger espresso maker (3-5 cups).
Customer Review: Best Moka on the market Summary: 5 StarsThe original creator of the Moka is still the authority. I grew up knowing moka pots as the only known way of brewing coffee, so I know very well how moka-brewed coffee should taste like -and this is the best. I used to think that the quality of vessel did not affect the end product, but I was wrong. If you start with good quality coffee and put it in a cheap moka you'll get a bad result. Now I can fully enjoy the (somewhat expensive) espresso blend that I like.
