The original creator of the Moka is still the authority. I grew up knowing moka pots as the only known way of brewing coffee, so I know very well how moka-brewed coffee should taste like -and this is the best. I used to think that the quality of vessel did not affect the end product, but I was wrong. If you start with good quality coffee and put it in a cheap moka you'll get a bad result. Now I can fully enjoy the (somewhat expensive) espresso blend that I like.Customer Review: Perfect at home espresso (including the portion)

This makes espresso better than any electric machine or cafe that I've been too, except the Italian one's that use Bialetti machines to make their espresso!
So many people have mentioned that it doesn't make enough espresso. It actually makes the right amount of espresso, it's not supposed to fill your big coffee mug, it's made to fill an espresso cup! We americans want such big portions, in Italy one cup of espresso is enough.

great machine, but it is NOT as good as a pump driven espresso maker. there really is no crema if that is what you are looking for. just to keep things in perspective. be careful when ordering the machine size. the cups they are talking about are tiny espresso cups, NOT regular coffee size cups. so in my case the 3 cup machine actually only makes one decent (not even really big) cup of coffee once you add milk and sugar.Customer Review: Love it but wish I had bought the bigger one!

I love this product! I bought it for those nights when I want coffee for dessert but don't want to mess with the big coffee maker and it certainly satisfies my coffee craving. The coffee taste great and the product is so simple and easy to use. I did not expect my family to prefer the coffee from my little percolator so now I regret getting the small one. I bought this Espresso coffee maker to use with warm milk. It is great if you like to make lattes. Or just plain expressos. It brews fast, less than two minutes.
It makes a great Cuban coffee but make sure you use the coffee like Pilon or Bustelo that comes in pressed packets not the cans. I do not use Italian roast because I do not think it would give me the same flavor for my lattes.
