Customer Review: Excellent Muffin Pan

First off, Amazon's has dual entries describing this pan: one entitled "Product Features," the other "Product Description." The dimensions given in the Product Description are the correct ones. Apparently some users who purchased the pan did not notice or question Amazon to reconcile the discrepancy.
Secondly, I have not experienced any sticking whatever; I give the pan a VERY slight spray with a cooking spray. It is a fact that sticking will often be observed if the dough is undercooked (when thoroughly cooked, it should evidence a slight pulling away from the walls of the pan) or if the contents are not allowed to adequately cool (approx. 5 minutes for muffins) before removal is attempted. Although I might probe dough for doneness, I find it more reliable to test using resiliency of the dough in conjunction with observed pulling away from the pan (never by "brownness").
Thirdly, the volume of the muffin cup is 6.50oz. The volume of the standard muffin cup is variously reported as being 2.5-3.0oz (mine are 3.0oz). I will defer to Texans to say whether or not this pan qualifies as "Texas" size. Nevertheless, the muffins produced are slightly larger than 2X the standard muffin. If that is not big enough, eat two!
Finally, I find the pan to be as sturdy or rugged as any other muffin pan I have used; indeed, it is similar to all of my cake pans except bundts, which are, by design, usually quite heavy (thick).
So, in a word, a great pan with which I am quite pleased.
