I love this toy box. It's very big inside and is made of quality components. I was able to assemble it myself fairly simply, even though I was six months pregnant. The "barrel" top gives the piece some character and makes it suitable for a nicer living room as well as kid's room. The best part is that the top hinges are designed so that the top will stay open so there is no fear of getting little fingers caught on a closing lid. This toy box was for my granddaughter. Her problem was with her brothers always getting in her stuff. So I bought this box and added a lock so she could secure her toys. This box is well worth the price. It is very sturdy and the materials used are excellent. It was easy to put together and to add the lock was easy. This toy box could be used to store other things also. The quality and look of this item would make someone think you paid alot more than you did.Customer Review: Very nice toy chest

I put this chest together myself (55-year-old grandmother) and only needed another set of hands to put on the lid. Very nice craftsmanship and the size of the toy chest was much bigger than I had imagined. Fits in well with the country shabby chic design of our granddaughter's room. We bought this toy box when my daughter was first born and now at 4 it's still in great shape! It's made of quality wood and has fit into any decor we've had in her room. The only thing I would add is a locking device to keep the top up when kids are getting toys! Right now they have to hold it up themselves which can be difficult for little ones.Customer Review: excellent product!

Bought this as a toy chest for my twin 2-year old grandsons. We all love it! The boys can get into it easily, it holds lots of toys and the lid stays wherever it is positioned so their little hands don't get smashed or pinched! Sturdy and beautiful cherry wood. Will be a great piece of furniture after the boys no longer use it for a toy box.
