I really like this little blender. My son-in-law has one and really likes his. That is why I bought mine.
It is so easy to use and clean-up is just a good rinse of the blade unit and cup under hot water and let dry.
I made an orange julious for the grandkids with banana,orange juice, ice and milk. It worked really well. I have read
reviews that said it did not do ice very well. I just use crushed ice from the refigerator, then mix it. So it takes less time get it to a froth.
I am really pleased. I looked for it in retail stores. They don't carry it...go figure. We have several of the other large blenders that have not been used in a year or so. This one gets used daily.

The "Back to Basics" blender is a great product. My wife and I were looking for a small blender to use with our "Medifast" diet plan and this one filled the bill and more! There is no need to spend more for other products like the "Magic Bullet" when this blender does the job for less! It is really simple to use. For a shake or a smoothie the cups are marked as how much to add (liquid/ice etc.), attach the cup to the blade base and tighten onto the motor and blend! You can either put on the "to-go" drinking top or a drinking rim and you're done. We've been using this on a daily basis (4-5 times a day) for a month now and have had no problems at all. I had one of these from [...] and loved it. But the cup started getting cracks in it and then it was leaking. I don't know if it's a flaw or if I filled it too much. I hope this set lasts longer as the cups alone are not cheap to order from the company. So I found the Express set with the other containers and ordered it off Amazon. Now I have both bases and mugs to go with them, PLUS the small containers. This is the best little blender I have ever seen. Blends ice well and is so easy to clean up. The little blades are foolers, they don't look like much but work just GREAT! I highly recommend this blender!Customer Review: Excellent Product

The Back to Basics Blender Express Plus that I purchased gets used every day for my breakfast smoothie health drink and is the easiest blender to use and clean that I have ever purchased. I use frozen fruit, soy milk and a health/vitamin mix (sometimes yogurt too) In just a few short minutes my breakfast drink is ready...I then fill with water and a drop of dish soap...blend on pulse 5 seconds...rinse and I'm all finished...and ready for the next day. I have used it for homemade fresh salsa, dips and dressings and comes out perfect every time. I would recommend it to anyone.Customer Review: shopping for blenders

I was in the market for buying personal sized blenders. Preferably, I wanted to make sure that I bought one that can crush ice for smoothies. I was thinking about buying a magic bullet, but after reading reviews that it breaks very easily, I was turned off. Anyway, after doing a lot of searching, this was the only blender (for the price) that was 350 watts. Majority of the other ones I have seen were 200-250 watts. This thing crushes ice no prob. If you are looking for a strong blender for the right price, this is the one. I definately recommend, with no exaggeration...
